Scholar or Scoundrel?
My uncle tells me that the DeFee family has a split personality - cops or robbers. He counts as one of the good guys. He's been an officer for over 20 years. It is fascinating that so many DeFees are police officers.
Or robbers.
I thought about providing some evidence for that claim, but realized it isn't necessary. Use "defee" and "police" as keywords in any search engine and you will find plenty of evidence on your own.
But use the terms "defee" and "officer", or just "defee" by itself and you will pleasantly surprised to find so many DeFees that are leaders, whether in a company, in a community, or at a university. There are a number of DeFees that I'm proud to call (distant) kin. I'll admit, the data is probably skewed. The only news making it to the web is either really good or really bad. But given our relatively few numbers (anyone know how many of us there are?), it seems the DeFee family is disproportionately successful. Kudos to you.
